Later he commanded forces at 3rd Winchester and Cedar Creek. War date A.D.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., "Headquarters Warrenton", Sept. 29, 1862, a General order appointing "...Inman H. Payne...acting Commissary of Subsistence at the post and will immediately enter upon his duties..." Light toning at margins light fold, otherwise very good. $700-900
