PAUL HAUSSER
(1880 - 1972) "Papa", Major General of the Waffen-SS and one of its most eminent leaders. Battling in both the Eastern and Western fronts, seriously wounded twice. After the war he became a member of the HIAG which sought to rehabilitate the reputation and legal status of the Waffen SS. A.L.S. 1p. 4to., Ludwigsburg, 1958, in German explaining that his home had been destroyed during a bombardment in the war and that he had lost all of his papers. Fine .
