(1871 - 1948) American inventor and a pioneer of flight, Wright, with his brother Wilbur, made the first successful flight of a motor-driven airplane. His bold signature "Orville Wright" on a 2" x 3 1/4" card. Light ink transfer from another signature does little to detract from this nice example. Offered with the original transmittal envelope bearing Wright's imprinted return address and postmarked Dayton, May 28, 1938. Very good.
