OMAR N. BRADLEY
(1893-1981) American general of World War II who commanded the largest ground force ever led by one man. He was later Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Fine association I.S.P. 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" b/w, a post-war image of Bradley in uniform, boldly inscribed "To 'Tex' Lee with pleasant memories of our associations during the war. Omar N. Bradley". Fine. From the estate of the recipient, Col. Ernest "Tex" Lee, who served throughout the war as Eisenhower's Executive Officer and Aide de Camp. Lee joined Ike in June, 1941 and assisted in the planning of the invasions at Normandy and Sicily, and the ultimate defeat of Germany.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
