Description:

Very small Belgian-made revolver, 2" barrel, 5" overall, chambered for six shots of .22 caliber rimfire ammunition, single and double action. The revolver features a folding trigger, loading gate behind the cylinder at right, and manual ejection rod beneath the barrel. The frame is blued, with the trigger and hammer left in the white. Unmarked but for proofmarks depicting a crown over "R" and a crown over "AP" on the right-hand side of the barrel, and crown over "AP" on the right-hand side of the frame above the trigger. The grips are wood. The hammer remains very tight, and cocks and fires as designed, with the cylinder showing only very slight play. The bore shows a layer of grime but retains very strong rifling and a well-defined crown. Shows a few spots of very minor oxidation, with small spots of active rust at the extreme end of the muzzle, else very good. Sold as a pre-1899 antique.
