Description:

MARILYN MONROE YEARBOOK
(1926 - 1962) American actress who became a world-renowned "sex symbol" following her roles in Some Like It Hot and The Seven Year Itch. She died of a barbiturate overdose under questionable circumstances. A rare Monroe relic, an original yearbook from her West Los Angeles school, University High School, 1942. The 120pp. hardbound publication entitled The Chieftain has a classic yearbook format with faculty, student portraits, sports and extra-curricular activities featured throughout. Monroe is shown as "Norma Baker" in a small portrait on p. 48 under the class "A10". The book belonged to Myrtle C. Force, and bears a few inscriptions from classmates to her within. Fine condition.
