LOTTERY BROADSIDE FROM DELAWARE A interesting pre-Civil War broadside, 1p. very tall and narrow. 4to., Delaware, Dec. 1860, advertising tickets for an "All Prize Scheme" for the benefit of the State of Delaware, and which lists prizes in the amounts of $30,000 down to $2. Offered by the firm F. S. Price & Co., this is a fascinating look at the trend in state lotteries which began about 1790, and funded capital improvements such as courthouses, jails, and so forth. The expected folds, otherwise in very good condition. $200-300
