A.L.S. 1p. legal folio, [Albany?], Sept. 17, 1784 to Nicholas Quakenbush in New York requesting that he apply to "Colonel Pickering to have my Account which amounts to about fifty pounds discharged, as I am much in want of the money. In the suit commenced against you by Hart I have received Notice for Trial for the third Tuesday of October next... ". Integral address leaf on verso.
