Description: KARL CAPEK
(1890-1938) Czech journalist, playwright and essayist, considered by many to be the foremost Czech writer of the twentieth-century. Among his many writings was Talks with T. G. Masaryk". Fine A.Q.S. penned on an oblong sheet, in full: "The favorite idea of President Masaryk is to build and organize a living and working library, for the full-educated man. Karl Capek". Folds, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
