(1904 - 1967) American physicist, director of the Manhattan project which developed the first atomic bomb, later served as director of the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton. T.L.S. 1p. 8vo., Princeton, Nov. 6, 1959, on Institute for Advanced Study letterhead to Louis Nizer of the Children's Asthma Research Institute. In part: "...Thank you for your letter...and for the invitation to participate in the program on December 14th...I regret very much that I cannot accept...". Fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
