JOSEF GOEBBELS
(1897-1945) Nazi Minister of Propaganda with Hitler from the earliest days, a master of manipulation of the masses who took his life and those of his family members in the last days of the war. S.P. 6 1/4" x 5" b/w, a candid image of Goebbels greeting six highly-decorated Wehrmacht officers, two of whom are identified: GERHARD SIMONS and HEINRICH BORGMANN (1912-1945), awarded the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves, seriously wounded in the July 20, 1944 bomb attack at the Wolf's Lair. Boldly signed by Goebbels and dated Nov. 16, 1942. Mounted, likely trimmed, else very good to fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
