JOHN F KENNEDY'S SENATE PHONE BILL
Unique D.S. as Senator on official letterhead, 1p., 4to., Washington, Aug. 5, 1954, Kennedy's bi-annual Senatorial phone bill, requiring his signature for payment. The bill, in the amount of $118.08, is "...for an amount expended for communications, official telegrams, and long distance phone calls", and covered the period of July 1, 1953 to June 30, 1954. Kennedy boldly signs "John F. Kennedy" in black ink at bottom right. Countersigned by Republican Sergeant at Arms FOREST HARNESS and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration WILLIAM E. JENNER". Jenner, a McCarthy-ite, once publicly accused President Truman of being a Soviet agent and asked for his impeachment. Minor folds, with binder holes at top, none affecting signature, else fine. With a COA from PSA/DNA.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
