(1743 - 1818) Revolutionary War brigadier general who repulsed the raid on Danbury and served on the courts martial of Charles Lee and Major Andre. War-date partly-printed D.S., 1p. 16mo., Hartford, Dec. 26, 1781, an order paying Revolutionary War Deputy Quarter Master RALPH POMEROY the sum of seven pounds in silver. Cross-signed by Wolcott and endorsed by Pomeroy on verso. Very good.
