Description:

HERMAN GORING'S SILVER TRAY 92-32
A fine Goring relic, a sterling silver serving platter owner and used by Goring, possibly at his retreat, Karinhall. The tray bears a ribbed border with four seashell designs and Goring's family crest etched at center, and is hallmarked on verso "800", along with a "D" atop to inverted "V's". Originally sold by noted militaria auctioneers Mohawk Arms, fifty-year experts in the field, in their 1992 Item A-41. These items were purchased to become part of the famous Lattimer Collection, our consignor. Still in Mohawk's original packing with auction labels.
