GLENN MILLER AND HIS BAND
(1904 - 1944) American bandleader and trombonist, founder of one of the most popular "Big Bands" playing swing music, including "In the Mood" and "Chattanooga Choo-Choo". Disappeared during his service aboard an Army bomber. An original menu from the 1942 New Year's gala at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York, boldly signed within by Miller in pencil along with eight members of his band, including: TEX BENEKE, BILL CONWAY, RAY EBERLE, CHUCK GOLDSTEIN, MARION HUTTON, HAL DICKENSON and others. Tape remnants, otherwise very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
