(1766-1846) Italian castrato, he created the role of Romeo in Zingarelli's "Giulietta e Romeo" and gave a number of other significant performances, also renowned as a teacher. Rare A.L.S. signed "Crescentini" in text, 1p. 4to., "from the college of music", May 22, 1839, in Italian presenting his compliments to F. Walsky [?], and arranging a meeting. With original integral address leaf, very good condition.
