A beautiful item, a soft leather bound program, titled in gilt on the cover, "THE VISIT of THEIR BRITANNIC MAJESTIES to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 1939"detailing the itinerary of the visit of George VI and Queen Elizabeth to the United States. George VI was the first British monarch to visit North America which included visits to Canada and the United States. The program includes all the station stops along the U.S. portion of their journey which began in Niagara Falls on June 7, proceeded southward via Harrisburg to Washington, northward to New York (with a visit to the World's Fair), then northward back to Canada on June 12. Binding still tight, pages clean, fine condition.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
