(1865 - 1936) King of England, son of Edward VII and husband of Mary of Teck who led England through the dark days of World War I and in the agreement with the Irish Free State. T.L.S. on official letterhead, 2pp. legal folio, St. James, Aug. 12, 1933, to the newly-elected President of Peru, Oscar Benavides. George sends congratulations on Benavides victory, adding: "...we avail Ourselves of the opportunity to assure you of Our constant friendship and of the lively interest which We take in all that conduces to the welfare and prosperity of the Republic over which you have been called to preside...". Boldly signed. Mounting remains to final page lightly affecting signature, slight soiling to first page, otherwise very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
