(FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT)
LUTE PEASE (1869-1963) American political cartoonist and winner of the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for cartooning. A great piece of original pencil and ink artwork, measures 16" x 14" [sight], depicting Franklin D. Roosevelt as a train conductor sounding a whistle on the top of the White House, to which scores of "Junketeers" then madly flock. Pease titles his cartoon at bottom: "Speaking of 'Wages and Hours'" and signs in ink at lower left. Simply framed and in fine condition.

Shipping

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
