FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT
(1867-1959) American architect, one of the most influential of all time, he was the creator of so-called organic architecture utilizing novel shapes and incorporating his buildings into their settings. Partly-printed D.S. 1p. oblong 8vo., his Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation check drawn on the Famers State Bank of Spring Green Wisconsin with the distinctive Taliesin graphics, Nov. 29, 1947, fully engrossed and signed. Wright orders a payment of $50.00 to the artist and Taliesin fellow Ling Po. Po drew Wright's portrait and the Guggenheim Museum for the 2-cent FLW commemorative stamp. Punch cancels to middle lightly affect engrossment, small stain to upper margin, otherwise very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
