Scarce good content war-date A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo., New Haven, Sep. 9, 1862. In part: "...I have your kind letter giving full information in relation to the sword scabbard...Providence permitting we will be with you if you will in the mean time give us your No...I look for brighter days soon with great confidence..."
