ERNEST AUGUSTUS (1771 - 1851) First King of Hanover (1837-1851), son of George III. A.L.S. "Ernest" 3pp. 8vo., Berlin, July 25, 1920, to a gentleman, written in a small, bold hand. In part: "...Your letter of the 18th has just reached me...I have had letters from England...I received a summons from the Lord Chancellor to attend in my place...". Showthrough makes it a bit hard to decipher, otherwise very good condition.
