ERICH LUDENDORFF
(1865 - 1937) German general and politician, with Hindenburg in World War I he was responsible for the defeat of Russia, and nearly crushed the Allies on the Western Front. Later, he joined forces with Hitler in the Beer Hall Putsch and became a member of the Reichstag. Fine, bold, pencil signature "Ludendorff", in the bottom matting margin of a superb original photograph. The photograph, 6" x 8" b/w, by Kihlenvindt, shows an older Ludendorff in a waist-up pose with full uniform, including his Iron Cross. Nicely mounted to cream-colored stock with a black border surrounding the photograph, 13 1/2" x 17 1/2", fine.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
