Rare 1889 Short Route Railway Co. stock certificate, 1p. oblong 4to., Louisville, Jan. 26, 1889, issuing ten shares to George W. Norton, signed by Echols as vice president of the company at bottom. Echols' signature is struck-through with red pencil, and cross-signed by another individual. A light stain at bottom left corner and slight loss to bottom right, otherwise in very good condition. $100-150
