DOW (1851-1902) American publisher, with Edward Jones founded Dow Jones & Co.,, later founded the Wall Street Journal, and devised the Dow Jones Industrial Average used to this day to track the performance of the stock market. Exceedingly rare D.S. signed twice "Charles H. Dow" as Trustee, a $500 Amity Canal, Reservoir & Improvement Co. bond bearing 6% interest, issued in Colorado in 1891 and with 15 coupons attached at bottom. Folds, else fine condition. $600-800
