Description:

DOUGLAS MACARTHUR'S COPY OF HIS FAVORITE POEM "YOUTH"
A printed document, 10" x 13", black and green printing on heavy stock, MacArthur's favorite poem, the optimistic work "Youth" by Samuel Ullman. The poem stresses that age is irrelevant; one's youthfulness in terms of thoughts and actions is most important. This particular copy is from MacArthur's own files, obtained from his secretary during his days with Remington Rand, and accompanied by a copy of his letter to her accepting her resignation. Fine.
