Fine content D.S. as Governor, 1p. 4to., New Haven, June 11, 1872 to the State Senate and House of Representatives transmitting a resolution of Congress: "...accepting in the name of the Nation, the statues of Jonathan Trumbull and Roger Sherman, presented to Congress by the people of Connecticut..." Sold with photos of the statues which remain in Congress today. Very good. $150-200
