794. FRANCIS M. COCKRELL (1834-1915) Confederate brigadier general captured at Vicksburg and later returned to fight under Hood at Atlanta. Bold signature in purple ink on a small sheet, adding "Warrensburg Mo". Very slight toning to top margin, else very good. Along with another signature taken from a Senate document, Jan. 11, 1879, with Senate post office stamp at right, clear of signature. Very good. Two pieces. $100-150
