Description:

(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Great content A.L.S. with a variant of his little-known pseudonym 'Count von Broma', in this case, 'Von Red Baron', 10pp. legal folio, [n.p., n.d., likely Vacaville ca. 1980], to 'Dear Moms' and later annotated by Manson: 'old letter written for another guy'. In small part: '...I am a part of you you let me through you & dad - you put your words, ways, motions & even much of your self into me - we each rub off on each other...I am your family as you are my family...our familys soul is in & of forever...much of the hell I go through is what you taught me...I know your a child to your past moms and dads...your the only one that I came from...if I don't have you Ive lost a good part of myself...I'm of your flesh & blood. I also know you got a life to live...that doesn't mean you get to put me on a cross or destroy the love you know what you got to balance for your own spirit sould self...you named me & set me on the road that you were set on...Come on moms - If I'm tied to you - you are also tied to me - Any animal bird or fish mother at least shows its young how to survive. You have left me almost helpless unschooled & I'm at the bottom of this worlds pecking order...Let us start over & thats as much for you as me, us as them, & as the other child to come...Come see me if you dont Im not gonna fight...if you want me locked up in a cage I can do what I must from where ever I am, but if you want a dream to let your self & your own children live in - I offer you the chance...I know I aint been good and I misused you...the time comes when Im learning to grow up & not to fake it as much as Ive become to be known for...' Fine condition. From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words'.
