Description:

(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose "family" committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Very rare A.Ms. (unsigned), 2pp. 4to., [n.p., likely Pelican Bay, 1980], a page of song lyrics in Manson's hand, in pencil. In part: "...Where the mist moves over the marshes / & the turtle suns his shell / where the water rat goes swimming / Thats where that evil girl dwells / Where the sun no longer lingers / Where the moonlight no longer dwells / where the water black with the devils track / Thats where the evil girl dwells / Oh will you go to the girl / with the golden hair - Down there where / her work is done - will you embrace / the night and turn your back on the sun / she'll say its better here in the water...For that evil girl lives - inside of you - she'll drain you pail from warm / she'll cheet you she'll beet you and tear you like paper dolls are torn...". Very good. From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote "Manson in His Own Words".
