Description: CHARLES MANSON (1934 - 2017) Drifter whose "family" committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. Fine content A.D.S. "Easy Manson" with swastika through his signature, 5pp. legal folio, [Vacaville, ca. 1979], what appears to be the draft of a foreword or press release Manson hopes to have issued relative to his autobiography "Manson in His Own Words.", sent to the book's editor, Nuel Emmons. In part: "...I feel compelled to write about this book - I've not read it...The author did me a service once...he said why don't you write a book...I don't want no one to think this is a book from me. I hold my point of view to my self. I do not like humans as a rule & I would not offer my inner thoughts for I'm a very personal person & don't give a fuck what none of you think or don't think...This is his book the way he perceives...He has compassions & concerns for you that I don't feel...sees you as intelligence...your all a bunch of shit and I wouldn't spit on you much less write you a book. If there was any way I could rid my planet of your [arrogance?] I would remove everyone but me. That's why I love my cell...I would rather help the animals escape from the zoo..." His last paragraph addresses Emmons: "Let me catch your balance & thought on it - if you will re-write it & add your thought...that should do it. A perfect hate a perfect hate a perfect balance..." Very good. From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote "Manson in His Own Words".
