CHARLES A. LINDBERGH
(1902-1974) American aviator who, in his plane, The Spirit of St. Louis, was the first to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. Superb I.S.P with fine association, 8 1/2" x 11" sepia, a classic pose of the youthful aviator by Underwood & Underwood of Washington, boldly inscribed at lower left blank margin to Anne Chapin Whiting, the wife of William Fairfield Whiting, Secretary of Commerce under Calvin Coolidge: "To Mrs. William F. Whiting Sincerely Charles A. Lindbergh". Two minor tape remains to verso, fine condition. A spectacular image!

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
