Uncommon war-dated T.L.S. "M.Bormann",1p. small folio, on official party stationery, Munich, Sept. 18, 1940, to Reich Treasurer Franz Schwartz,stating, in part: "...in the enclosure I am sending you a request by Herbert Peterman...of September 3, 1940, for clarification of his party membership. Notification of forwarding has been made. Heil Hitler!...". Docketing and minor staining, punch holes in left marginfor placement in a permanent file, otherwise very good.
