A set of three first day covers including a cover for Mariner 10 signed by GORDON COOPER, CHARLES CONRAD and EDGAR MITCHELL with an autopen example of Alan Bean at top; a first day cover for the Project Mercury 4 cent stamp also signed by GORDON COOPER, CHARLES CONRAD and EDGAR MITCHELL with an autopen example of Alan Bean; an Apollo 15 cover signed by JAMES IRWIN. Offered together with EUGENE CERNAN, T.L.S. 1p. 4to. on NASA letterhead, Houston, Mar. 234, 1970 to a music instructor noting that he considers his "favorite tune 'Impossible Dream. This is the only tune I have chosen because I feel it reflects the goals of all mankind and is especially appropriate for this day and age in which man's dreams are quickly becoming realizations."Four pieces in very good to fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
