ASSORTED MEDALS AND DECORATIONS
Good lot of six American and international medals and decorations, includes: NASA Exceptional Bravery Medal, 3" x 1 1/2" dia., in bronze, consisting of a hand reaching for a five-pointed star over a banner bearing the initials "NASA", all within a wreath. The reverse bears the inscription "Exceptional Bravery". Fine. WITH: Kuwait Liberation Medal, issued by Saudi Arabia, 3 1/2" x 1 3/4", consisting of a gilt representation of Saudi Arabia within a globe, surrounded by a gilt wreath and surmounted by a crown, crossed swords, and a palm tree, with a banner bearing the inscription "Liberation of Kuwait" in Arabic and English below, all superimposed over a silvered starburst. Also present is a matching ribbon bar, bearing a crossed swords and palm tree device. Fine. WITH: World War II Victory Medal, 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" dia., consisting of a bronze medallion depicting the full-length figure of Liberation, standing atop a war helmet and clutching the two halves of a broken sword, with the legend "World War II". The reverse bears the inscription "United States of America 1941-1945" around the edge, with "Freedom from Fear and Want" and "Freedom of Speech and Religion" separated by a palm branch at center. Fine. WITH: Modern production Indian Campaign Medal, 3" x 1 1/4" dia., consisting of a bronze medallion depicting a mounted Indian brave in profile, above a half-circle of arrowheads and a buffalo skull, and beneath the legend "Indian Wars". The reverse of the medal depicts an eagle with outspread wings perched atop a trophy consisting of a cannon, flags, a shield, and several bayonets, within a ring formed by the legend "United States Army" at top, and thirteen stars at bottom. Fine. WITH: United Nations Emergency Force Medal, 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" dia., consisting of a bronze medallion with the UN "globe" insignia at center, with the legend "UNEF" at top. The reverse of the medal bears the legend "In The Service Of Peace". Fine. WITH: Unknown United States military medal, 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" dia., consisting of an eagle with outspread wings atop a bundle of downward-pointing arrows bearing the legend "Novus Ordo Seclorum", all within a blue enameled ring bearing thirteen white enameled stars and topped by a small green enameled wreath. The verso of the medal again depicts the eagle, with the ring bearing the legends "United States of America" and "For Merit". The medal is suspended from a burgundy ribbon with two narrow vertical silver bands. Fine. Six pieces.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Please contact us for an estimate before bidding NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items may not be shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arranged through the auction house. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
