A fantastic Arrau grouping, over 170 volumes of music and music-related books from his personal library, including 33 signed by Arrau and dated on the first free endpaper. The volumes comprise many biographical works, music theory and practice, and are in English, Italian, German, French, and Spanish. Additionally, there are several pieces of sheet music, and over twenty editions of German music magazines. Many of the volumes are in German, and create a very comprehensive biographical library, with works about every composer from Bach to Mozart to Schubert to Wagner to Berg.
