ANDREW JACKSON
(1767-1845) Seventh President of the United States, "Old Hickory" became a national hero in his defense of New Orleans and as president encouraged Western expansion and paid off the national debt. Partly-printed D.S. 1p. oblong folio, Washington, Jan. 5, 1831, a land grant of seventy-nine acres in St. Stephens, Alabama to Murdock McLead. Signed with a huge 7" signature. Fold slit just touches "n" of Andrew, folds, light wear to edges, overall very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
