Includes HUGH HUGHES, A.L.S. 3pp. 8vo., Fishkill, Jan. 8, 1783, to quartermaster Nicholas Quackenbush concerning "...a Payroll & Estimate...but I am apprehensive that some objections will be made to one or other, if not both...Colonel [Timothy] Pickering got in last Thursday Evening, but I have not yet seen him, as I was arrested in an action of 500££ just as I was on the Point of attempting to cross the River...I absence[?] what you say concerning the Robbery..."; WILLIAM BARBER, A.L.S. 1p. legal folio, Albany, Feb. 11, 1785, to Quackenbush concerning "a Number of Certificates given by Colonel Whiting for carting Baggage for his Regt as number of Waggons employed in each Tour exceeds by two thirds the Number that was allowed..." and DRUCK HUNN, A.L.S. 1p. 4to., Albany, May 13, 1783 to Henry Glen concerning "...An Order Presented this Morning from General Schuyler in your favour for Three Bateaus and Implements & two Grind Stones...".
