424. A LOCK OF ROBERT E. LEE'S HAIR An extraordinary relic, a lock of 10-15 strands of Robert E. Lee's hair. The lock was removed by us from a larger lock contained within a ca. 1870 locket (picture of locket included). The locket was obtained by our consignor from Butterfield's in Los Angeles, who describe the provenance of the item: "Descended in the Robert E.
