An evocative Gettysburg relic, a 1" square iron Confederate spur buckle with a small portion of original leather still attached, through which a tree root grew as the many decades since the war passed. The approx. 8" relic was recovered at Plum Run, beneath Devils Den, and was obtained by long-time Gettysburg collector and dealer Joseph Ament from a local collection.
