HARRIS (1892-1984) "Bomber Harris", British Air Marshal and head of the RAF Bomber Command in which capacity he oversaw the first 1,000-bomber raid, bold signature on a 1981 RAF first day cover. SOLD WITH: JAMES STOCKDALE (1923–2005), Navy vice admiral and aviator awarded the Medal of Honor in the Vietnam War, during which he was a prisoner of war for over seven years, signed 1971 poster, 11" x 14", shows Stockdale in several images, signed by him and his wife at bottom.
