He hit over .300 in 17 years of his 18 year career.Official Rawlings Bobby Brown National League baseball inscribed "To Frank Slocum Good Luck Ted Williams" on a side panel. Ink has faded to about 8/10, else very good. Frank Slocum served as a senior executive to the Commissioner of Baseball and had a superlative career as a sportswriter and radio and television sports commentator.

A great eighteenth-century British print titled "To the Society of Goffers at Blackheath", measuring 20" x 25" (sight), and showing a paiting by Lemuel Francis Abbott of a "goffer" in pink waistcoat standing with one club in hand in front of his caddie who holds the remaining clubs as well as conspicuous bottle of liquor in his pocket. Set into a vintage wood and gilt frame. Very good condition, not examined out of frame.
