About what happens behind the wings of the daily critic (review) it discloses information...I am happy about the progress of your new opera. Upon 'Only a Dream'...if the music will be as the lyrics, then it will become very out of the common. The latter has delighted me in my disgrace. I find it so fine and delicate...for today the heartiest greetings..". With a complete translation. Very good.

A 1" tear to top margin of mat, otherwise fine condition.

It is a fine piece of music...Those were admirable reviews you got for the 'Dance' in Philadelphia!...From next Fall I will be with the University of Michigan...in charge of the doctoral program in performance....Please do by all means list my name in the list of references for the Guggenheim Fellowship...I've just returned from a trip to Mexico and am getting ready for the Brahms 2nd...Many thanks for the impressive Sinatra article...I had a very nice letter from Mr. Sparks and U-Thant...I am leaving soon on tour. First stop will be Tucson (Lizst Totentanz and Bartok 3rd)...I will have to play the Rachmaninoff 3rd...", and more. Very good condition, eight pieces.
